Billie Lee Orenbuch

Billie Lee Orenbuch, MSW, LCSW

Billie is a psychotherapist in private practice, working with individuals, couples, and groups – with a special interest in the family dynamics and relational issues at work.

Billie brings a wealth of life experience to her work. Prior to her career transition, 17 years ago, she worked as an information technology specialist, focusing on companies undergoing significant systems transitions. Using skills learned in both of her careers – and her diverse experiences as a wife, mother, and professional woman – Billie helps her clients attain relief from and an understanding of anxiety, mood disorders, personality disorders, work problems, loss, and marital discord.

Trained in both Level I and Level II EMDR, she has helped more than 500 individuals achieve relief from PTSD and other anxiety disorders. And, as a DBT therapist, she works with both groups and individuals who have symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder.

Drawing on these specialized skills, and on her training in Authentic Happiness (as taught by Martin Seligman), Billie also leads groups that teach both practical coping skills and techniques and, at the same time, facilitate and support fundamental, live altering shifts in outlook and perspective.

Billie earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from Widener University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
